Within AYSO we have Sections, Areas, and Regions as well as our National Board of Directors and National Office.  Areas are groups of regions that often play inter-regional play and sometimes hold tournaments.  Each Area has an Area Director who is the liaison between the Region and the Section. Area Directors support and guide Regions.
