2013 Section Meeting Registration Now Open

March 15-17, 2013

The Section 13 Meeting is heading to Harrisburg! Join in on a weekend full of fun, networking and continuing education. Make sure not to miss some of the new course offerings including: Fouls that Mean Trouble, TEAM AYSO, More Fields for More Soccer and "REC" is Not a Four Letter Word. The popular Friday night "Suite Talks" are back and a special Goalkeeper and U-10 Field Session will be offered on Saturday.

AYSO has adopted the world-wide RESPECT campaign for the 2013 Section Meeting season with our own theme "RESPECT.starts.with.me". Respect for referees, opposing teams, coaches, parents and players is an essential part of ensuring every AYSO game is safe, fun and fair for all! Learn more about how to support the RESPECT.starts.with.me campaign this season by attending your Section 13 Meeting.

A Warm Welcome to Section 13

Section Thirteen of the American Youth Soccer Organization represents Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Verginia plus part of the Carolinas. This website prvides information to volunteers in the section. If you are a parent looking for a region please check in with our National Training and Support Center (ayso.org).

 

Section 13 Areas

Section thirteen covers seven states; Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, District of Columbia and parts of North & South Carolina and Kentucky, an area of approximately 220,000 square miles. Over 27,000 players and 6,000 volunteers are registered in 97 regions throughout the section.

The section is administered by 11 Area Directors (AD) and their staffs who support regions in their area:

  • Area A - Altoona PA area - Bill James - 16 regions
  • Area B - State College PA area - Alan Crider - 6 regions
  • Area C - MD and VA - Vicki Eckert - 6 regions
  • Area D - Johnstown & Western PA - Bob Lasagna - 12 regions
  • Area E - West Virginia & Western PA - Daniel Leskinen - 7 regions
  • Area F - Ohio - Jack Rapkin - 2 regions
  • Area G - Eastern VA area - Mark Wice - 5 regions
  • Area H - Eastern PA area - Dianne McCurley 10 regions
  • Area I - South Central PA area - Don Mock - 13 regions
  • Area K - North Central PA area - Barry Pidcoe - 9 regions
  • Area Y - North Eastern PA area - Gina Champion - 11 regions
